How to read your Bank Card?

Hey all, im getting money transferred into my account today from the UK and im unsure how to get my account number and sort code from my card, are they on the card? Town is a long way away for a statement and im unsure even if i get a mini statement will my account number be on this?

Edit: Sorry its an AIB debit card with Maestro and Laser on it.

Your account number will not be on it.

Your sort code is the six digit code at the bottom i.e. 90-12-34
Your sort code is the identity of your branch i.e. AIB, O'Connell St.

I'm going to move this to bank.

The sort code for an aib card is the number on the bottom left 93-xx-xx your account number is not on the card. You need to call internet banking to get this - a branch will not give it to you over the phone

Ring your branch and they will sort you out.

You may need IBAN (international bank account number) and Swift code if transfer done from abroad. your branch will be able to give you this info as well

Is it possible to get a mini statement with my bank a/c on it if i go into any branch.

Most banks allow you to print a statement from an ATM machine which will include your account number. Any teller should be able to give you a printout with your account number if you have an ATM card.
