Freesat gives RTE channels.........so says Maplin!

Read the tech support questions, presume the guy answering read that radio is available but still, reading it one would think you can get RTE TV channels in Bristol with this magic freesat box!

It's misleading, but it's not exactly lying either. You can get the four RTE radio stations on Freesat.

if i asked that q and got that answer and purchased based on theinfo, I would be livid. it may not be lying in the strictist sense, but its damn close on selling you something that is misguided to the last

I dont think that is it, most "sales" people dont care that much.

It is just ignorance/misinformation/not knowing.

It is beyond me how Maplins are still in business......worst prices ever.
