RIP, a true legend of TV cookery.

Parts of his shows are shown on "Saturday Kitchen Live" on BBC 1 on saturday mornings. I wonder will they have a tribute to him on this weeks show.

Was a bit weird watching Lily's dad interviewing him on Channel4 only last night > and then today he's dead!

He will be sadly missed/ RIP Keith Floyd, (one of the first great TV celebrity chefs).

It's certainly one of those days. :( RIP. A hugely entertaining and energetic character and my own abiding memories of him was the amount of booze he'd consume while preparing the food. Food and drink was always fun for him.

Yeah I watched that programme about Keith Floyd last night and was shocked by how old and ill he looked (not surprising as he was diagnosed with bowel cancer last summer apparently). I though it was all the booze and fags.

The irony of his death is that he died from a heart attack while waiting to watch himself on TV last night.

When he was on TV in the 1970's or 80's it was interesting and entertaining, now all we seem to get on TV over here is cookery and property development programme. It's ****e.

Anyway now "he's gone in the wind" as the late, great Ronnie Drew sang.

    Bump

    BBC2 9:05pm-9:50pm A Farewell to Floyd

Rick Stein, Marco Pierre White and Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall pay tribute to fellow chef Keith Floyd, who died on September 14. Together, they demonstrate how the late broadcaster's ground-breaking shows changed the way food-oriented programmes were received by the general public, and paved the way for many talented chefs to begin their own TV careers
