I have just got a log processor as i have a big demand for logs due to installing a gasification boiler for my house and selling surplus logs as a sideline.

I was just wondering do any of you want to hire it out to process any of your timber?

I am in Co Louth but will travel within reason.

I'm a little far away from you as I'm in Leitrim and I have enough timber for the next 2 years stacked and split. But I am interested in your set up. What type of processer did you get and what did you pay for it? Is it hard worked?
How does it handle hardwood like ash - especially if its not too straight?? What thickness of logs can she handle? Is it fully automatic with a conveyor? Its something that I might think about investing in for the future.
