iTunes 9 tethering

    If I upgrade my iTunes (note not iPhone 3GS) my tethering wont be broken right? Im tethering through carrier file btw.

    AFAIK (you should bing this to be certain) the iTunes upgrade won't break tethering but the iPhone 3.1 upgrade will definitely break tethering.

    Yep, iTunes 9 is fine. It's the iPhone OS 3.1 update that breaks tethering.
