Hi I've used the Technotrend S2-3200 HDTV-S2 succesfully with both Vista x64 and Windows 7x64 however support for the common interface when trying to get it to work with Windows media center is extremely hit and miss to say the least if you were trying to do that.

Cheers for that info, I was looking at that card as my first choice but was finding it hard to get the info you just provided.

I will only be using it for freesat so I will not need a CI.

Windows 7 if you've got it/can get it is your best bet then with that card then as its standard with DVB-S support an will bring in the guide for the Freesat EPG.

Cheers, I plan on upgrading to 7 when it comes out.

Just so I can get this clear for myself, the above card does work with Vista64 Media Centre? I know I will have to do some messing to get the HD channels to show, but other than that?

    Cheers

Yip worked grand for the free to air channels. Some of the other nice media centre type applications to play with are Mediaportal, and Meedios
