Did anybody stay in Sat. night and watch this??!

Do ye know who the rugby player was that spoke in Irish to Gráinne Seoige after she presented the award to the rugby team?

Have to say *I know shame on me eh :D* that I was probably more proud of him and his little speech in Irish than I was of Brian O'Driscoll!
I don't think the guy was from the Gaeltacht, though I could be wrong, but fair play to him, he said his piece and he did really really well. He had great Irish.

Great to see and must say it is great to have Grainne Seoige on this with her Irish-- if only more of the presenters had it.

oh and by the way, does the fact that i'm answering mean that i'm admitting to have watched it?? i mean, it would never be as bad as the night i watched the iftas. now there's a couple of hours of my life lost forever!

Haha now that was terrible- why do we watch these things??! I think it's a condition of being Irish and living in such a small country.

Yeah it was the tall guy- dark hair. The other guy has bleached blonde hair and is broader and shorter. I actually know him to see lol. I don't know the players but I'm obviously proud of what they achieved in last few years.

yep I just did a google image search and it was Luke Fitzgerald. The guy is only 22! Says on wiki that he loves the Irish language and he's from Wicklow. God I never knew that before now.
Anyway he did us proud- they all did :)
