Hi Im thinking of buying a mk4 golf gti and i want to get a new exhaust on the back cos the one thing that annoys me about these GTI's is that you cant see the exhaust. Im not getting anything extravagant just one pipe maybe 3-4 inches wide. However i dont want horrible knacker sound you can get with some exhausts. I want it to sound more like an R32 with a heavy grunt. Any ideas how this can be done? Dump valve?

    Cheers

No exhaust in the world will make a 1.8T sound like a V6,however a milltek exhaust sounds sweet on the 1.8T not 'knackerish' in the least.do a youtube search for sound clips.

You need to pick up a V6 4motion rear valance with a cut out for exhaust tips and then buy the milltek exhaust with the 4motion style back box.
