Seems to be pretty good for a bedroom tv. Got the samsung last time it was up and was delivered withtin a week. Might make a good prezzie if you can keep it hidden for a few months ;)

postage is actually £9.99 for Eire, and this really is bottom of the barrel when it comes to LCDs

Freeview is MPEG2. DTT in Ireland is MPEG4 so may not be supported by this tuner.

also a post by a boffer member on the product discussion forum:

"i Bought a 22 inch umc telly last month, and id suggest avoiding em like the plague the dvd player constantly skipped (didn`t matter how many dvds i tried) the screen flickers to black, for longer periods of time the more i watch it, the bleed in at the top and bottom of the screen is very distracting. To top it off it comes with a card that offers a 15 month guarantee so i emailed them as i want it replacing, no answer 4 emails later still no answer. So i called them and then had to argue with them for a collection to be arranged."

I got one of these 22" a few months back and its great IMHO.

I'll admit the picture is far from excellent, but I have it in the kitchen and it plays DVD/CDs and has an iPod dock. I can also pick up the cable radio channels on the DVB tuner so its a 4-in-1 unit for me.

I wouldn't pay almost £130 for the current offering though.
