    Hi,

Im a 23 year old girl. Im living in Sydney at the moment with my boyfriend.

I have been here for just over a month but Im having a pretty hard time settling in.

I live and work with all men. I have lots of male friends over here but I havent met any other girls. My hostel is all men pretty much, and I work with all men.

I would love to make some female friends over here but have no idea how to go about it. I miss female company!!! Does anyone have any suggestions of what to do?

I am really bubbly and outgoing and have no problem with talking to people so it frustrates me that im so lonely over here.

Join a yoga class or a fitness club? It's mostly gals there and the environment is chat friendly.

I live in Sydney too and admit it can be a pretty daunting place at first.

If you are into sport then you could join an Oz Tag team or there are loads of womens soccer teams.

If not, you could put an ad on gumtree for people with similar interests.

why dont you try get some accommodation sorted? When your looking there should be plenty of ads where they state whether its women or men there. Try and find a mix. Theres ALWAYS people looking for housemates in sydney.
