Help with a movie title

Hi,

I need some help. I seen a movie a long time ago about an old man. I dont really have much more details than that. I think the movie may have been called Ted, or the old guy was called ted, not too sure which. The movie was on tv it was quite sad. ive searched imdb and tried google with no luck.

Perhaps someone has seen it.

Father ted - it was not.....

It was about an old man and really what life was like for an man who was nearing the end of his life.no family, no friends and pretty much all i remember i was only a kid when i saw it...

Nothing else to distinguish it - was it American, Irish, English? was it set in the country or city? probably need a bit more to go on tbh

And keep in mind we don't know how old you are, so you could of been a kid in any decade over the last 100 years or so.

its not the straight story or borrowed time...sorry, im 26 so id say i was about 12 ish when i saw it...maybe its one of the teds on imdb, any of them about an old man called ted??
