I'm generally not into chick flix but I make exceptions for: Ghost, Grease, Save The Last Dance and other high-school ones (Never Been Kissed, Mean Girls - not specifically a chick flick but not not one either, Romy & Michele's High School Reunion, Clueless).

Best part of Grease is on right now! Same as Dudess, I find the majority of Chick Flicks boring, but all the good ones are on today.

I'm going to go watch R and M's High School Reunion on my ipod after this.

I loved Mean Girls, its way funnier and more intelligent than most other chick flicks, I even bought it on dvd Grease is great fun too, although why parents let their kids watch it is beyond me, the script is filthy in places lol

You must be kidding me, Mean Girls is intelligent nowhere, and lacks funny in most places. Not a great chick flick TBH.

I was in a meeting with a few blokes a few months back and the subject came around to the point where the lads looked at each other and said "nobody puts Baby in the corner" and giggled.

I've never seen it either, but I find most chick flicks to be absolutely unwatchable.

HB Ice Cream is better but otherwise I agree.

Not only woman have Guilty Pleasures, mine are chick flicks!!! I still haven't seen Confessions of a Shopaholic though, my buddies thought that would be too far out there to go:(

Not intelligent? Tina Fey's screenplay is fantastic, its one of the best critiques of high school conformity you'll ever see, like I said its way wittier than it has any right to be

I dont get why people have this image of it as being just about disco dancing, its got drugs, gang rapes, violence,its rated 18s with good reason tbh the soundtrack is probably why people look at it like some innocent dance movie but its far from it

I thought it was dire. Extremely contrived and not terribly funny and ultimately pretentious. All the reviews I read about it were good so I found it extremely disappointing. I avoided 30 Rock for over a year based on how dull I found Mean Girls. Thankfully when the writers strike happened and I gave it a go.

This technically isn't a chick flick, but it is so good I had to post it here. It's a 13 minute long film that has kinda changed my perspective on what love could be, given I have never experience true love that is outside the realm of Family or friends.
