How many calories...?

Im a female trying to lose weight at the moment, I have a decent diet but am struggling to find the time to do enough cardio work to actually burn the calories.

Thing is I have a very active sex life and would tend to have at least one hour of very vigorous sex per night that really gets my heart pumping. I'm wondering how many calories this is likely to burn and whether it would be an adequate replacement for the cardio work I dont have time to do?

LOL. would I be right in thinking you hadnt read the stickies and previous posts? you are spending an entire hour on steady state activity!? you would be far better off doing intervals - e.g. going FLAT OUT for short periods, followed by active recovery ;) and flat out again .. you would get far more bang! for your buck that way :D

    :)

As is normal with this kind of thread, post a typical day of your diet, to get feedback on where you might be able to improve it?

I wouldnt recommend posting details of your current exercise regime. :)

But if you are already doing this and not losing sufficient weight, then youre either going to have to crank it up a gear, or do something else as well. You cant expect different results from doing the same thing, and all that.

Cardio work doesnt have to take bucket loads of time, if you get the intensity right, a circuit class or doing interval sessions might be an idea for you.

Where do I find a circuit class or interval session of this type please?

Look, if what you're doing isn't working then you have to be honest with yourself. Are you being really vigorous? Could you be more vigorous? Is it actually a case of him/her being vigorous for the both of you and you're not really pulling your weight? If you think you're being plenty vigorous then we have to look at some other options.

Basically the key here is progression. Now you can go the simple route of adding 5 minutes to your session each day until you build it up to 2 hours, or you can increase intensity/number of partners?
