Magic Monday - Sydney Olympics 2000

    Just wondering where could I get a copy of RTE's coverage of Magic Monday from the Sydney Olympics 2000 when Sonia won silver and Cathy Freeman won Gold among many other memorable moments that night. Its the best night of track and field I've ever seen and I had it taped on VHS as a kid but stupidly taped over it a year or so later. I'd love to have a copy of it. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks

    Can you jog my memory as to what else was on that night? Was in the stadium on the Saturday (Mo Greene, Zelesny, Freeman's semi I think) but in The Mercantile at the Rocks on the Monday.

    Magic Monday was that night that Sonia got silver in the 5000m, Cathy Freeman gold in 400m, MJ gold in the mens 400m, Haile Geb pipping Tergat in the 10000m. Anier Garcia winning the 110m Hurldes, Jonathon Edwards winning the mens Triple Jump, and Maria Mutola winning the 800m. There was something like 9-10 gold medals decided that night.
