Has anyone ever tried to run 2 batteries in series on their AEG, say one bat in handgaurd and the other in the stock. Im laid up for the next few months so im looking to fiddle with AEG:)

You'd effectively be doubling the voltage and the rest of the gun will suffer because of it. the motor, trigger contacts and even the wiring could all give you problems. not worth it in my opinion. :)

That you cold do, although i would say when one of them gets lower than the other it'll start to graw from it. so you end up with a good battery thats not performing to its peak. it would mean you'd have to remove the dead one which would defeat the purpose in the first place., :)

Sorry lads a miss type :o:Di ment paralell , thats exactly what i want to do is double my battery life:)
I am basically thinkin of putting 2 x 9.6v 2000mah bats into a kwa defender, just so i can extend the battery life. Any info on it?

Make sure the batteries are at the same charge, mah, ideally same brand and age etc. if you plan to do this.

The trick is just finding space for the batteries and doing the wiring.

I don't know how you'd do this, but it might be possible:

When your laptop is plugged in, and the electriscity goes, the battery takes over so you can continue to work. It is a backup power source. Same thing as Emergancy lighting. I don't know how you'd do it in an AEG, but it might be possible to have a 'Back up' battery power in the gun so when one runs out/stops, the other takes over. That way you wouldn't have to worry about the wear and tear on the gears

you could try, due to the large space in an a1 handgaurd put two batteries in and wire up a switch so instead of changing the battery, file a hole in the handgaurd secure the switch to it and to change battery just flick the switch

Thought about doing it awhile ago but dont have a spare aeg to mess with :p
