Can anyone confirm that either the FTV Cards are paired to the box they are activated in or secondly, as per the old ones, once activated they can be used in any box.
    Thanks

Interesting experience at friend's house today. He has an old sky box in his kitchen connected to a TV with no card in it and hasn't had one for some time as he got it from a rented property some time ago AFAIK. Obviously it had FTA channels with default regions of BBC1 London/ITV Central West and no Five on EPG. I got him to get a Sky card from his Sky+ box in another room and card immediately put Five on EPG and gave him his own regions. When card was taken out of box it continued to show this. Is this unusual or will box return soon to being FTA without card ?

It will continue until the power is turned off at the mains/power cut etc.
