What are you going to be playing and where? What guitar have you got?

This amp doesn't sound good to me anyway from the Thomann clips, and doesn't look like good value at all.

Once you let us know what you're after in terms of tone and usage we can make some suggestions.

Il be using it at band practices and gigs within reason.I have a squire tele(currently looking to get some pick ups for it) and the main reason im getting it is cause its supposed to have good clean and i will be using a distortion so il be ok on that front tooAnd the fact that its 100 watts for 245 euro and it sounds good on the youtube vids i've been watching

it isnt valve , so if you want cheap but reasonable id go with a marshall avt series .

anything below 500 euro for 100 watts is not going to sound great.

you are better of getting a second hand good amp
like a mesa or a good fender

I used to have that amp. Put a ME-50 in front of it and it was a fantastic sound. Really liked it.

That said, the amp on it's own wasn't great.

Entry level valve yokes are Peavey Valveking and Bugera.
Fender have some all valve amps at good prices too.

why wasn't it good by itself?

I think its one of the best amps you can get (for the money). a lot of bang for your buck. Its a no frills amp so is worth getting something to stick in front of it but otherwise its good if you are on a budget.

Im really confused, the reviews say its good but people here are saying its mostly bad and only few are saying its good, what should i do?

Try it out and judge for yourself.
...and never ever decide to buy an amp soley based by listening to sound clips online! :D

You need to make up your own mind, but I played through one of these for a few months and I hated it. I play blues/rock with a strat, and couldn't get a sound I liked from the amp at all. I'd recommend a low-watt valve amp, something like a Valve King or a Fender Blues Jr. A 15watt valve amp will give you plenty of power for jams and small gigs, and will sound a whole lot better.

    But then I'm a valve snob :p

Thats usually how i always do it,as in i bought a squire tele even though people usually dont like it cause I played it and loved it.But there ain't anywhere I can play this fender :( thanks for the advise though, just one more question. What did you find wrong with the amp,was it just that you didnt like the sound?

Yes, I didn't like the sound. The clean sounded thin and harsh to me, and the gain/overdrive sounded terrible. There was nothing technically wrong with the amp, it worked fine, I just didn't like it.

Thank you,i've heard that the built in distortion is bad but i'b be using a pedal anyways.I've also heard the clean was supposed to be the best part of the amp but i guess thats just opinion :)
