Eircom setanta sports thing not working?

    Whats up with the "watch setanta sports free with your eircom broadband" thing, when you try to watch anything it says the service is unavailable and try later...
    Its quite disappointing from eircom....

    It certainly is - and this disappotment is compounded when you try to find out why from their 'technical support'.

    They dropped that months ago, kept it nice and quiet.

    I was watching it last month for Celtic's champions league qualifer(the game before Arsenal).

    It's very hit and miss and I haven't tried it in the last few weeks.

    I hope it is still there cos I wanna watch Magners league. I only signed up to Eircom in July and the Setanta Sports option was being advertised as part of the deal.

    If they dropped it surely the tech people would have told me? I know they are bad but surely not that bad.

    They haven't gotten rid of it.
    It's there as a service that can be availed of.

    Tech support don't troubleshoot it, it has to be mailed on the website.

    And in problem type, just choose 'trouble using my broadband service'

    I get that sometimes depending on browser used.

    Have no problems when using Firefox.

    I would like to be able to increase the pic size though ....

    I often thought they blocked Champions League games on the web. Never managedto see a CL game live via Eircom but have managed to watch LoI Games

    Double click the screen. Quality isnt great tho...

    Gonna get a cable to hook it up to the tv. Saves paying those theives 15 a month
