Running Pains: Feet & Lower Legs

Ok, so I started the C25K program this week using some of the podcasts available from the site. I have run Mon/Weds/Fri and hope to keep these days moving forward. To my surprise, things are not going to badly, and the weather has been great each day (making starting a little easier).

Now I just wanted to check with you experts, whether some of the pains/niggles I am feeling are just due to the fact I am starting out, or anything more serious......

Over the week I have experienced:

    - pains in the front of my shins
    - pains on the top of my feet
    - niggle/pulling sensation at the back of my knees
    - pain on the outside of my calve on the right leg

All of the above pretty much disappear or become less painful with the 5min warm down at the end of program.

However, the 3 pains in blue tend to occur always so far, and today the niggle at the back of my knee forced me to stop twice as I thought I was going to pull something there? It did become less of an issue towards the end.

So anythig to be worried about, or anything I can do to lessen these pains?

I do a few stretches before starting and at the end, however perhaps there is more I can do? I am also typically running on roads, if that matters, and purchased a pair of entry level running shoes which are quite comfortable, and do be tied tight.

    Any guidance welcome. Thanks !

noone is an expert on the internet. Your best bet is to see a RL expert as per the charter.
