strange problem with LINE 6 toneport ux1

    Hi there,

    just looking for a little help for a strange problem which I am not sure is with my toneport or my computer. I have 3 USB slots on my computer. I used to use the same one all the time for my toneport. One day it stopped giving me the sound back through the headphones jack. The sound was fine going in and I could see the signal going through my gearbox and onto Cubase. But no sound coming back. I initially thought the problem was with the toneport but realized that when I switched it to another USB slot it worked OK. Now after months of using this one the same has happened with it. Now I am down to 1 USB slot.

    Anyone any idea why this may be happening?

    The USB slots work fine otherwise, and even works fine for getting the signal into ther computer as I mentioned.

    One more slot gone and my toneport will be useless to me.

    Any ideas? Any help would be great.

    I posted this prolem also on the line6 forums. Someone pointed me towards this doc http://www.usb.org/developers/whitepapers/power_delivery_motherboards.pdf and said it may be a problem with USB power droop?? Anyone know anything about it or had a similar experience?
