To the IASRA members. We the committee will be hosting a meeting next wednsday the 16th of September in neilstown community centre, Clondalkin at 7pm until 9pm. We will be discussing with our members the current plans to form a chamber of commerce, and propositions for our players to merge with the IAA. We will be able to answer any questions on the day, and the IAA committee will be our guests. The IAA committee have offered to answer questions in connection with the merger aswell. We will be discussing the timeline of the possible merger, and we can also discuss members rights and legality of this transition. We are open to airsofters airing their concerns with regards to the merging.

Members of the IAA are welcome, and other airsofters interested in the transition. We hope that the meeting can be courtious, constructive and polite as possible.

    Hi,

I'm new to Airsoft, and not yet a member of the IAA (I do plan on joining)...would it be alright if I came to the meeting? Or would I have to sign up before hand?

    Thanks,
    ~Inari.

Has this been cancelled? Can non-members attend? Or just IASRA members only?

    Non-members are welcome as far as I can see;

Yes IAA members can attened, and non-organization members.

I must say again, this meeting is about the forming the chamber of commerce, and discussion for retailers and players involved. Questions not relating to this directly, will be hailed as off topic from the meetings agenda.

I really would love to attend this but I am a member of the management committee for the apartments that I live in and lo and behold we have a meeting with the management agent at the same time.

Good luck with this I hope everything and everyone now move forward together.

Hope this meeting went ok for all.
Due to family circumstances, I was unable to make it over.
Those that know me are aware that travel away from home can be difficult for me at times.
    Looking forward to results/report.

I'd just like to say thank you to everyone who attended the meeting today.
I feel that a lot of important matters were discussed. I'd like the thank the IAA committee for so willingly stepping up and answering so many questions. I'd also like to thank Enrico for getting us the venue on such short notice.

The IASRA committee are now starting to plan to hold the AGM, at which our members will cast a vote on the subject. I know a lot of people couldn't make it today to ask the questions they wanted to, so if there is any other questions to do with the Chamber of commerce, and IASRA, please do not hesitate to contact us, whether you are a member or otherwise.

We should have the minutes of the meeting up as soon as possible.

I would like to thank the IASRA committee and members for allowing me to speak at length last night to address their concerns.

It is very encouraging to hear that so many IASRA members will be running for positions on the IAA committee at our AGM, this is a very positive move and what the community needed.

We are 1 sport, and 1 community all together.

It was also good to see Enrico and a good contingent from FRAG there.

We'd also like to thank Giz for forwarding on some of the concerns she's heard from IASRA members about the IAA recently.

We'll be responding to them publicly, and hope that open and honest dialogue will help people better understand what's going on.
