    Navy helicopter in forced landing

A Royal Navy helicopter has had to make a forced landing after flying into cables over Exmoor in north Devon.

The Lynx helicopter, based at RNAS Yeovilton in Somerset, was on a low-flying training flight near Lynton. It landed in a field.

The two military personnel on board were unharmed, according to the Ministry of Defence.

The windscreen was smashed during the incident and there was some damage to the rotor blades.
