    Hi,

    Increasing my training lately - (planning Dublin marathon next month) - and while its been tough - enjoying it.

    Previously sport = hurling, soccer.
    First time doing long distance running.

    Feeling pretty decent shape recently, but last night - did a 8.5 mile route - hilly, through woods - did it before - but got intense cramp in both legs approx 6 miles into it.
    Both hamstrings, both calves

    Cause = dehydration??

    Prevention next time?

    Thanks

    Had trouble with cramps all my life with GAA, a friend recommended I tried Tonic water that contains Quinnin an hour before I run. Havent had a problem since although it tastes disgusting
