Alternative to Sky

    Currently have Sky+, account is with someone who is moving out.

    I was thinking of getting SkyHD, but was wondering if there is an alternative satellite offering? which offers the same HD quality signal, aswell as a high quality electronic programming guide, with series link, and identical recording features, etc.

    Not interested in NTL's cable offering.

    If you're just looking for the "free to view" U.K TV and radio channels, you could try;

    No premium channels are carried (sport, movies, MTV etc) but it is an alternative option with no subscription.
