Storing Manually Tuned Channels on Sat4Free

    Hi.

I have recently purchased a Grundig Sat4Free box. Can anyone advise me on how to store manually tuned channels?

I have all the codes and can manually tune the channels in (on the manual tune screen) but cannot store them. Once I exit the manual tune screen, I cannot find them. There does not appear to be a "store" button or option either.

    Can anyone help? :o

Make sure the software is updated and all tuned in channels should be listed from 3000 upwards as far as I remember

I've set the box for automatic upgrades, not sure if anything has happened since I did this (I'm not a techie by any means).

Also, I can only select 3 digit channels, is there a way of changing this?

There appears to be some restrictions with the Sat4Free software (e.g. cannot input post code on First Time Installation), so was wondering if this was another.

If there is a way around this I'd really appreciate the advice.

    Thanks.

I'm not sitting near my machine at the moment but as far as I remember you need to enable the 'show manual channels' within the menu. It automatically stores any new channels added. The only time I was ever able to select a 4 digit channel was by putting a zero before it, feck all use if you want to watch channel 3014. I'll check the machine tonight and see how I enabled the manual channels to show up.

No bad for a Gobsheen, haw.

On my Bush freesat boxes - once the channels are added they all stack up @ 3000+ - and you can go down from 101 to get to them quicker. Previous poster was correct about Menu - Show Non Freesat channels. Not sure if the Swap gets you the same results - or if it is Swapping between Freesat and Non Freesat ???

Push the CH LIST (just above the SWAP button), then hit the SWAP button o bring up the list of manually stored channels.

    Hi,

I have a grundig sat4free box, it gives the option of adding channels manually but I have been unable to add sky news
    I tried
    12207 V, SR 27500, FEC 2/3
But as soon as I enter the initial settings the FEC changes to 3/4 are there appears to be no way of changing it back to 2/3
Any suggestion? Should FEC change with the frequency like this, is there are alternative tuning for Sky news?
