Late Oct / Early Nov Skiing in Europe

I know this is probably stretching it a bit but is there any chance of skiing in Europe around late Oct or early Nov?

I realise there are a few glaciers which are supposed to have year round skiing but is that very limited in terms of runs?

Also where are the best glaciers for skiing in terms of reliable conditions?

Well there is the Mondial du Ski and the Mondial du Snow, which are two weekends in the glacier in Les Deux Alpes at the end of October.

Basically the glacier is open for the 10 days or so, and at each weekend there are ski and snowboard demos available to all for the 09/10 gear. I think the skiing one is on first..

I was there last year for one weekend and it was really good, so if you want to get your hit of snow then, id recommend it
