    Hi Guys,

IFS.NI are holding a seminar bringing over head Urban Krav Maga Instructor Stewart McGill and UKM Instructor Leo Negao on sat the 26th of Sept.

This is an invite to all martial arsts clubs if they would like to come to the seminar. We have Muay Thai, Kickboxing,TKD and various Jiu Jitsu instructors attending - its open to all schools.

The seminar will be suitable for beginners right through to the more experienced.

    SEMINAR

This will cover Urban Krav Maga Street defences,BJJ ground work adapted for the street (We teach people to keep on their feet if in any street situation but if you go to ground the UKM/BJJ ground work system will help you defend and escape the situation) and possibley some of Leo's silky BJJ comp moves depending on time.

    INSTRUCTORS -

    Stewart Mc Gill -

Stewart McGill, Senior Instructor with the British Combat Association and Urban Krav Maga. Previously a 3rd Dan in Goju Ryu karate and civilian/Law Enforcement instructor with 2 separate Krav Maga organisations.

    He reports -

"I continue to train in boxing and MMA. I was earmarked by my Goju Ryu instructor to take over the running of the club; he had been trained by Yamaguchi Hanshi who was trained by the famous Miyagi, founder of the style and one of the most revered figures in the history of the Okinawan/Japanese martial arts. Consequently, I'm proud of my lineage in this style; however, having trained for many years in this and other combat systems, I'd found nothing in which I truly believed until I began Krav Maga. That's why I teach. People need no-frills, effective self -defence techniques that can be learned quickly and instinctively, are clearly applicable to real situations and that don't require levels of strength, fitness and flexibility to which only professional sports people can aspire. BUMP,

One seminar filled, room left in the second seminar.

This is open for anyone interested in Krav Maga and BJJ - you do not need to be associated with a club, you can come down and give it ago, all techiques can be preformed by beginners and experienced alike.

We have guys comming from backgrounds such as muay thai, kick boxing, ju jitsu, bjj, karate, silat and boxing for example.

Also below is past Urban Krav Maga Seminar reports -

“A great training session, thank you. Feedback from the group was very positive.”
Head of Surrey Police Force's Special Response Squad

The techniques were easily retained by the team, the majority of whom had never studied anything like Krav Maga, and it is testimony to both the system and Stewart's excellent instructional technique that all the team were able to retain and employ what was taught.”
    Camden Street Crime Wardens Seminar

“It has more self defence cred than any other system we know about - and we know quite a bit about the subject”
    Combat Magazine

“The simplicity of Krav Maga and its absolute effectiveness were startling. Perhaps most impressive was its ability to be equally effective for both males and females.”
Deputy Lawrence Garcia - Instructor Arizona Law Enforcement Training Academy

"The officers were deeply impressed not only by what they had learned but also by the excellence of the instruction..we believe it to be the finest such training that exists.”
Jeremy D Margolis - Director Illinois State Police Academy

“Pressure tactics simulate real-life situations. the exercises bring out all the aggression necessary to survive a real-life attack.”
    Sunday Times Magazine

"The world's best form of self-defence. Very enjoyable and easy to learn”
    TimeOut Magazine

If you have any questions or are interested e-mail me asap

    thanks
