    Hey :) lol

Right down to business i have decided to lose bit of weight as not totally happy with my size. I done this last year when started a new job and between Sep to Oct i lost bout 2 stone.

So i have stopped drinking aint had a beer in bout 2 or 3 weeks, i usually have porridge or scrambled egg at bout half 6 in morning before i head to work and on weekends to. Lunch to be honest i tend to not eat anything i dont be hungry and dont see point if i aint hungry like.

Dinner last few days has been fish or chicken with either mushrooms potatoes or some kinda veg EG peas , carrots , cauliflower. I try and prepare the food with out any oils or anything that adds fat.

I started this bout week and a half ago i was about 14 stone 3 pounds and im 6ft4 im now bang on 14 stone.

Is what im doing so far ok? Should i add or change anything ??

Eating to hunger is good. But eating twice a day is not ideal. Try to eat a bit more. If you are not hungry at lunch time then have something small like some seeds and nuts and yogurt etc. Something that will not stuff you up but you will be getting the calories in too.

Read the stickies here and in the fitness forum too. They hold a wealth of valuble free nutritional info that you would otherwise pay top dollar to get.
In the stickies there is a formula posted by g'em to work out your calorie needs. Do that to figure out how many cals you need and generally subtract 500 from that and you will have a deficit of roughly 3500 cals over the week which equals fat loss hopefully.

This deficit i mentionned can be acquired through food or exercise.

Try to stick to whole, unrefined foods where possible.
Brekkie looks good. Things like oats, eggs, natural yogurt, fruit is a good way to start the day.

Load up on the veg, especially greens. Lean meats and fish are great sources of protein.

Snacks could include cottage cheese, nuts or nut butters, fruit, ryvita etc.

Congrats so far and do not look at this as a diet. Do not do something you cannot see yourself doing for the rest of your life. If you want to keep the weight off i think it is good to work your food plan in a way that you ewill not be miserable. It's ok to treat yourself every now and again.

Thanks for the reply and advice :)

Im not in major need of losing weight i mean me family are like why ya eating this way dont need lose weight its just something i will feel better with doing.

What i have been eatin so far i have enjoyed i like most fish *minus batter all that ***** love chicken love mushrooms eat them with anything really.

My main problem is fruit and veg since i was a child i hated fruit cant stand it wouldn even eat around people who actually had it.
Veg i will eat it if its cooked the right way for me hence rock hard carrots are not my fancy.

So im really looking for ways to keep my diet interesting and good and lose weight and tone up a bit cause i used to be fairly fit and kinda went off track for year or so.

Thank you though i will check the threads you mentioned ;)

truthfully you aren't eating nearly enough and what can happen if you don't eat enough is that your body can go into starvation mode and try and keep hold of your fat stores and eat away at your lean body mass. As lean body mass burns more calories then fat, you should be trying to keep as much of this as possible.

Eating smaller meals more often helps to keep your metabolism higher thus making fat loss a bit easier, so you should be looking to eat 5-6 meals a days if possible. Now from the look of it your meals seem quite good as is so just add some more food during the day, like a lunch and 2 snacks and you should be fine

I used to be 16stone and now im and 5 and a half stone lighter. I didnt get to 16stone by eating veg! So at first i loathed veg but believe me your tastes DO change over time. I found that stirfrying mushrooms, peppers, baby spinach, watercress etc with some spices really made veg edible and you just taste those spices. Maybe been inventive with your food is the way to go. Eating healthy does not have to equal boring.

Stick a plain chicken breast in the oven with some seasoning (or just a tiny bit of a sauce) while cooking your dinner and there you have a quick meal when you add some veg to it.
