Books?

So is there a booklist out yet for it? Im doing Biotech.

Or will the Lecturers instruct us as to which books we should get?

In my experience, since often you'll have courses being given from different departments, there aren't booklists. The lecturer will tell you which book they recommend for the course. Most books you don't need to buy. If the lecturer says you really need it, or really should get it, then do, but otherwise don't bother your arse. You'll be pissing money down the drain. If you need it for a week, check it out of the library

I'd hold off on buying any for a little while, ask your tutor what is really necessary. Some booklists include books that only have one relevant chapter and you can just photocopy ion the library.

And if you do buy books, check out the SU website second hand ones.
