Rear end looks great, front looks bland. Very 360 Modena. The new Ferrari 458 has it well and truly licked in the style department anyway.

Will be interesting to see who is building the engine, a 3.8l V8 twin turbo. Pity its forced induction though, suppose NA will become increasingly rare nowadays.

Nice car and great to see McLaren challenging the more established supercars, will be interesting to see how it does head to head with them. Pity they couldnt have come up with a better name - MP4-12C

I was hoping the drivers seat would be in the middle, like the F1.

Its a nice car,but as its been pointed out,its the spit of the ascari, and quite similar to the new Ferrari,ah well

Looks great alright, even if it's not as distinguishable from the competition as the F1 was. Who wants to buy me one?

I don't think it looks great at all. I guess I was expecting something a bit more......F1????
Even though I know the F1 predessor will be along soon.
Still, I think they could have done better.

i would prefer an f1,but it will do i suppose:)
apparently the name echoes the companys history in formula 1 and it has self adjusting suspension that varies the damper setting to ensure a soft ride for urban driving then stiffens up to improve driving dynamics and handling as speed increases,

it will cost £150,000 (with no plans to sell them in ireland)
and will be followed up with 2 new cars by 2015 one an entry level model to rival the standard porsche 911,and the second to fill the gap left by the discontinued carrera gt which cost £330,000 in 2004,

random bits from an article in the sunday times,

an f1 with 484 kms on the clock sold for £2.5million in 2008!!

i think they are trying to make this car a little less rare:D
