    Alrighty then!

Eager little fresher that I am, I've been doing a lot of reading/looking up/etc. Few newbie questions popped up. (hopefully I'm not the only one wondering this!)

    From looking at life.dcu.ie, I see there's 2 events scheduled - Orientation Ball (23rd) and Fresher's Ball (30th)

    Question 1) What's the difference?
Question 2) What goes on at them?
Question 3) Can non-dcu'ers attend them? Sign in as guests or something?

    and unrelated...

What the hell do we do if our timetable for orientation week is pretty much blank after tuesday?

    Thanks :)

    1. Orientation ball is just for newbies, everyone can go Freshers
    2. Drink/dance/talk/penetrate etc
    3. As far as I know you can buy tickets for non-DCUers, though I'm not sure if you can for the Orientation ball (didn't go myself)

I may be wrong but I'm fairly sure that's it.

And orientation week is just 2 days usually, so do whatever the hell you want :)

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

orientation ball is michael jackson themed I think and freshers ball is back to the future themed.
On a separate but similar note :D Tinchy Stryder pulled out of UCD freshers ball :-)
