-Ebay if you have items you want rid of that would sell, its easy enough to get the hang of.
-If your a techhie, putting ads up in your locality for fixing/restoring people's laptops (basic problems obviously)
    - the usual suggestion we all give - cut grass etc.
    - ask your school if they have any work for you. Sound bizarre? My school years ago employed 8 of my classmates to paint it at the weekends!
    - save your parents money by going through their bills - e.g. switching gas, electricity providers etc.,cutting back on sky if you have it, becoming the off switch nazi in your house.

If you're particularly good at one subject or two, then see if there are any Junior Cert students (or their parents) who would be willing to pay you for tutoring them a couple of hours a week. If you're patient and good at teaching an area of interest this can work well.

I don't know about selling unwanted items as they sell for very little or else they don't sell and you still have to pay fees.

I saw a buy it now auction on ebay for an ebook for £3.99, the ebook was of course total rubbish like they all are (I don't buy them). The same ebook can be bought for 99c in another website. I estimated how much the seller was making off it after fees it turned out that he is making £80/week even though he has some negative feedback saying how rubbish the ebook is.
