tax relief for UK's tuition fee?

hello, i recently taken up a part-time postgraduate course with Cardiff University,UK. I've been working in Ireland & paying taxes since yr2002. i was told that if i join any tertiary/postgraduate course in Ireland i can claim tax relief/tax credit, and i might be able to ask for tuition fee reduction in UK, since all are under EU states. Wonder if this is true? if so i imagine i have to get on to UK / the university itself? or do i get on to tax revenue here? sorry i'm clueless.

There is tax relief on full time third level eduction fees in Ireland.

I do not know if there is the same in England.

Hi,

Your college maybe be an 'approved college' thus entitling you to the tax relief i.e. a Publicly funded or duly accredited Universities and Institutions of Higher Education in another EU Member State but I would contact your local tax office to find out if you and your course & college qualify. ttp://www.revenue.ie/en/contact/index.html
