AEG Hi-Cap Magazines

    Hello again folks,

Right, I have two AEG's; Sig 552 & M4 (Both JG), and both came with Hi-cap mags. Couple of things are common to both of my guns (& mags), and was wondering if it's just common to the brand, or across the board.

    A) The AEG never finishes the last rounds of the Hi-Cap. There's always between 5 and 15 rounds left over. From what I can work out, it's that the mag can't empty, because it needs more BB's in order to reach the AEG. I'm just wondering if this is common to all Hi-Caps, or just the ones that I have. I assume that this isn't a problem with mid caps, as from what I've seen they're spring loaded.

    B) When ever you remove the magazine, two or three BB's drop out. Is this a magazine problem? Or is this just a flaw with JG, or do most AEG's suffer the same thing?

    Thanks in Advanced,
    ~Inari.

The Hi- Caps use a spring similar to the one's in tape measures to push the bb's up, the last 15 or so rounds are the ones that won't be pushed up due to the lack of tension on the spring. Midcaps will fire all rounds bar roughly 4 these four rounds push the bb's into the hop chamber.
The bb's that fall out of the gun when you remove a mag are the ones that made up the space between the mag lip and air nozzle. Once again they don't fire due to lack of pressure.
