Apple Refurb Delivery Times

    Hi all

    i bought a macbook air from the refurb on monday at 7pm.

    however it hasnt shipped yet.

    i rang them early today and they were waiting for authorisation from my credit card company and that went through at around 1pm.

    however, even though they said it was all authorised, i still havent received a confirmation email and the status is still not yet shipped.

    anybody any experience how long it takes to get here?before i bought i asked the apple people and they said it was in cork, but turns out its coming from the uk.

    I've ordered lossa stuff from the refurb shop and it's always come from the UK, usually in about 4 days. Waited 7 working days for a refurbed mbp this time last year tho'.

    thats not good :(. i needed it before friday as im going on a 2 week trip - even specifically asked them about that fact, hence the reason i bought the air :|

    if by thursday i see no movement ill have to cancel the order as it would be useless to me then.

    I got a mbp from it last month, took 5 days for it to arrive. Ordered on a Monday night, arrived at the door on Friday morning.

    ive gone and cancelled the order. repeated calls to the apple store. someone said the system was in uk, another one didnt have a clue, all passed me to their american aftersales team. who couldnt figure out why it hadnt shipped 3 days on though it was processed, couldnt find out - ie, "there is nothing i can do sir, we just have to wait".

    cancelled it therefore as there was no way it was going to arrive.

    going to get a macbook 2nd hand on adverts. hopefully now.

    disappointing.

    on a side note, anybody knows how much reinstall discs from apple are?machine im getting is still under warranty.. but no discs
