BA are getting the A380 too as are Korean Air,Malaysia,Etihad, and Virgin to name a few.

BA in 2012, the B777-300 and B787-800 have priority. B777-300 starts delivery in 12 months. Three new B777-200's just delivered. G-YMMR, S and T.

As far as I am aware Virgin pulled out and remain so. What I do know is Singapore Airlines have just announced deferring delivery of the last of their A380's. Currently they have 9 in service with 2 for delivery this financial year. The last 8 now defered. Reason is they are losing heavily on first and business class seat sales. Yes! They are not the only ones regardless of aircraft type.
Qantas have had some problems with their A380's. Replacement parts being robbed from aircraft on the production line. No figures yet.

Thats weird their logo was on the Display aircraft at Filton and all the other display sites like Prestwick before heading to Portrush, odd that they wouldnt have removed it if that was the case?

As in the small lash of airline logos on the side?

As far as i remember, Virgin just held off for a bit and let others get aircraft ahead of them, im almost sure they aint canceled all together

Virgin may take delivery in 2013. They ordered 6 which were supposed to be in service this year. They deferred and extended the lease on their B747-400's.
BA also orderd 6. Not too long after Virgin deferring. To be honest Airbus were desperate and practically gave them to BA. Lets wait and see. Only 4 years to wait.

As we were taxxiing of runway 270L on Monday we passed right behind the Singapore A380 being towed towards the start of 090R (Or in that general direction anyway). It was the first close up view I have had of an A380 and it looks very impressive. It looks a lot nicer in the singapore livery than the Emirates paint job I think.

I was surprised just how low to the ground it is, which you can see from the above picture. Shame I didn't have a camera, it would have made a lovely photo.

    D-AIMA.

It's due into Finkenwerder, Hamburg for final work soon (or else it has already arrived). I've heard that entry into service for Lufthansa has been delayed till mid of 2010. The reason being due to problems with the seats, but I don't know how reliable that info is.
