    Whats the policy of the boards on asking if people do commission work for painting minitures. Since its a fairly specialised field, I don't think adverts.ie is suitable. I know the boards rules say no trading on these boards, so would it possible perhaps to sticky a resource thread with a list of those who do offer the service?

    No-one PM me saying that they do commissions until Lemming has ruled. OK.

    Interesting question, and one I will need to put to higher authorities since this is no longer the realms of buying/selling/trading miniatures, etc. and into the realms of services.

    In short, I'll get back to you on it within the next day or two.

    Some gaming stores do commission work, though the price depends on the amount and size of the models & how much detail you are looking for, ie a single centerpiece model or a horde of night goblins/gaunts

    Can remember a few years ago chatting to one of the GW Dublin staff. He mentioned that he did commision work, I asked him if he could do mine, his reply was that he couldn't talk to me about it but that I could ask him the next time I saw him off-duty!
