Facebook chat keeps switching windows

Hey, wondering if anyone can help me on this one.
I had multiple tabs open in firefox and another window with a flash game running. While I was chatting to one of my mates, my gf decided to start mashing all the keyboard buttons for a laugh.
Ever since then, whenever someone messages me on facebook chat, I immediately get sent to that tab as though I have clicked on it, no matter what I was doing in another tab or window.
I can't see anything in the firefox or facebook settings she might have turned on but it's absolutely headwrecking - anybody any clues?

Edit - A reboot hasn't helped either. dammit
