Getting the PS3 Online

    Hey

    Just after getting a PS3 and im looking into getting the ps3 online. I currently have a 1MB broadband connection, would it be good enough speedwise or would i have to upgrade?

    1mb is fine dude, although faster is always better.

    all you need to do is link an RJ45 cable from the router to the SP3 port = instant cable connection.

    Other option is wireless...

    Go to settings, internet settings and run the auto setup. It'll ask what wayare you connecting, cable or wireless. choose whatever one you want.

    Check your NAT setting, if its 2 happy days if its 3 you might have issues linking up with "friends".

    cheers for the help, got it hooked up through the wireless no problem!

    just another question, playing games online how does that affect download usage is it like watchin a movie online for example usage wise or would it be more?

    I have a 10240 MB download usage a month, would that enable me to go on the net do the usuall stuff an play games like call of duty 4 online?
