You have to admit, we've all come across fakes we'd happily drive.
I came across this one on my internet travels, thought they did a great job on it tbh.
Step by step job, pictures and Videos in link.

    That's nice alright.
Maybe not quite as much care taken but I wouldn't say no.

If every one would take the same care in faking a car, the world would be a much prettier place, at least.

The proportions of the first one are still all wrong, particularly around the rear arches. Personally, i'd prefer the original MR2.

    That looks really well.

Drive? Why would anyone want to drive a fake? Just to be seen in it while others might think it is a Ferrari? No thanks.

I do admit though that some look quite good and a lot of professional work has gone into them, but somehow most of them don't look quite right.

No matter how good a fake ever looks, it still won't drive or sound like a Ferrari. Which means there is no point. But I suppose there are many people out there who just buy a car based on looks and the image attached to owning it. It's one of the reasons it pains me to see a lotto winner going and buying a Ferrari or something! Buying a fantastically engineered car just because of the image of owning it is a serious waste!

Is it not illegal to copy a car like that? How much would it cost for the kit?

Absolutely. If you gave me the fake for nothing, I'd sell it and buy a real car.

Personally, despite the quality of some of them, I think anyone would look a complete c0ck driving one. €30k buys an awful lot of car these days

If I won the lotto, I would buy a really flash car (haven't really thought about it to be exact) but I wouldn't care what anyone elce thought. It wouldn't be a waste on me. Then again, I wouldn't be buying for image.

For the cost of building a 430 spider fake, you could buy a real 360 spider! - Totally useless exercise!

Do you follow around lotto winners to see how they drive their cars?
