Leather boots

I can't find a single pair of nice leather boots anywhere. I have tried

ASOS
Littlewoods
Topshop
Miss Selfridge
Aldo
Office
Faith
Dune
Schuh
Barrats

And a few others that I cant think of


I just want a pair that stop just below the knee and are real leather. Preferably a little scrunched, or with some small detail on them and an almond toe. Dont want biker boots. Everything seems to be suede or thigh high. I would like black or brown preferably. Something nice and easy to match. I'm going insane here

Oh god. This reminds me of me. The day I find myself a pair of leather boots that don't make me look like a biker or have heels/wedges I will dance a merry jig.

I bought a pair in Schuh last year; and yes that cost me millions and yes they keep the water out BUT they're well massive on the feet part (even tho they are my size:

They don't look great here and it's the same in reality but someone desperate might like them! Was an emergency buy!

Have you tried some smaller private owned shops? Often they have brands that might suit what you're looking for.. Good luck. May the force be with you as I understand your plight:(

www.duoboots.com is good if you are willing to spend a bit of money. I think that leather boots are an investment so it's worth spending a bit extra.

Have you guys tried China Blue in Temple Bar? It is quite possibly my other half's favourite shoe store. They have a good selection of boots there both high heel and flat.

I got a lovely pair in Buffalo a few years ago and they still have the same style in stock this season. Had them rehaled twice as I wore them so much in the last 3 years! They were around €135 iirc.

Have you tried TK Maxx? I was in the Cork one yesterday and they have a very good selection. Some awful ones too of course, it is TK Maxx!
Topshop online also have a beautiful pair just in, so you may not have seen them in the shop.

Big + 1 here. I have two pairs from Duo Boots and they are excellent. They have shops in some of the bigger cities in England, so if you're over on a visit, pop in and see what's available. Otherwise you can purchase online.

When I bought my first pair from them, sterling was at a high against the euro and they cost nearly €250. Now they're much cheaper due to the more favourable exchange rate - so take advantage

I was in Marks and Sparks on Grafton Street yesterday and they seemed to have a big selection of boots. I don't know how many are flat or leather but it might be worth a look.
