cassette help

    got a new sram cassette but i cant get it off the mock hub thing its on.

    i have a chain tool and lock nut remover but the thing its on spins freely within the cassette so i dont know how to get it off!

    im porbably missing something.... but cant work it out!!??

    Just set fire to it - the plastic will burn away leaving the aluminium cassette behind. Allow it to cool before fitting.




    (can't you just pull it out?)

    the lock nut is locked to the plastic thing in the middle

    Last SRAM cassette I got was held together by a U (or maybe a V) shaped piece of plastic. Just pinched the ends together to get the locknut off.
