All-Ireland Football Series Format

Hi all, New to the forum so go easy on me! Just a thought i had, with all the complaints we've been hearing about how the qualifier winners have an unfair advantage over the provincial winners going into the All-Ireland Quarter Finals with those such as Dublin and Mayo not having a second chance etc. Would you think the GAA could impose a new quarter final set up similar to the one used in the afl in australia wherby the top 4 or in our case the provincial winners play each other in 2 knock out games where the winners advance but the losers would also have a chance to play the winners from the 2 ties of the 4 qualifiers whereby the two winners from these games go on to play the unbeaten provincial winners (in this years case Cork and Tyrone) for the so called semi-finals. Therefore not only would the format keep 8 teams but the provincial winners also have a 2nd bit at the cherry so to speak!

What are everyones thought on this idea? Would it work in today's GAA? All comments are appreciated! Oh and yes i am a tiny bit biased as a Dublin fan!:D
