Alternative wedding venues..for a medium sized wedding (Preferably in county galway)

I was wondering if anybody has had any good experiences of alternative wedding venues in and about galway for a decent sized wedding...about 150 people.
Most country houses/castles/manors only hold 50-100 maximum, but i have seen marquees being used. We'd like not to have to go for the traditional hotel wedding reception but i haven't heard enough feedback about other places really...
    Would really appreciate any help..:)

    Hi Rua,
Sorry I can't help you out, but me and my new wife to be would also be interested in a similar type of venue. Anyone any ideas?

What about Lisloughrey? Not in galway (40mon drive from city) but a gorgeous location, on the grounds of ashford castle (I think!). Can hold 180 for weddings.
