Ok, training for the DCM at the moment.

all was going peachy until last week.

was experiencing plantar faciitis in left foot until a couple of weeks ago when I had a gait test and got new runners which instantly sorted my foot problem - but now I've injured my knee.

Did my 14 mile LSR yesterday - had a small niggle in the knee on a shorter run in the week but didn't think much of it. no pain yesterday until towards the end of the run but it was sore and stiff last night and this morning I could barely walk to work.

So, I'm thinking I got to get to a good physio who can sort my leg out once and for all and hopefully keep me on track for the DCM.

Anyone know of a good one in South Dublin who can work wonders in a short timeframe?

    Thanks in advance!

Maybe try Premier Physiotherapy in Ballinteer?

I've limited experience with physios, but Andrew (aussie chap) at the Butterfield Clinic in Rathfarnham did a great job in sorting out a painful tibialis anterior problem and got me right for an oly tri on Sat and now I can get on with the plan for DCM.

Ciaran Fitz is in the Dundrum area, and he is excellent. Highly recommended around these parts. Pm me if you want a phone number, or search here on this forum (may have been posted before).

cheers, subsequently found Ciaran's details in another thread. Will give him a ring and tell him I was referred from here.
Hoping he can use the proverbial magic sponge to get me back in action!
