Hey guys, Just a bit of a rant. I'm over in the states at the moment. While here I stayed in lake tahoe. They are advertising their season pass for Heavenly at $345. It makes me feel sick when I see the riders overhere get such a bargain. I go to Chamonix a few times a season and each time my lift pass costs me a small fortune.

anyone else feel mad about the cost of lift tickets ??

I guarantee you that is a either a misprint, or you misread the notice. $345 would be the cost of a 3-4 day pass in Heavenly.

Season liftpass at that price does look unusual.
I priced a 6 day pass on the Heavenly website in mid January 9 (ie midseason) at $384, which would be dearer than the above quoted season price.
A 6 day pass for Chamonix last season was €235, can't find 09/10 yet.
Maybe that price is a mistake in which case I'd buy one up quickly!!

Unless there are a lot of misprints on that website it might be true.

    Adult - $349
    Child - $169
    Teen - $279
    Senior - $279

I stand corrected, though this seems an even better deal - Check outthe Epic Pass

    http://www.snow.com/epicpass/epic-pass-details.aspx

With this ski pass, you will have unrestricted and unlimited access to Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone, Heavenly and Arapahoe Basin.

    Unrestricted (no blackout dates)

Unlimited (where you want, when you want)

    Only $599

This seems an incredibly good deal when a 7 day pass over Xmas and New Year in Heavenly is €476. I am truly amazed at the low price for this ticket at €599.

you can get a season pass for Breckenride, A-basin and Keystone (called the Summit pass) for $399.

Think you had to buy it in person previously but this year it's possible to buy online (http://www.snow.com/planavacation/seasonpasses.aspx).
