Hi there, I recently graduated college and have a free year before I hopefully start my masters next yr. I want to take an evening course in French or Spanish (prehaps both) and wanted to know if anyone could offer some recommendations as to where I might be able to do this.
The Sandford Language Institute and Languagewise.ie appear to be the two most widely recognised language learning centres in Dublin, but I have heard mostly negative feedback about these institutions on boards.ie.

Does anyone have any feedback for me about these two schools?
I especially want to know if the French and Spanish tutors are good and whether the lessons are mostly conversation or is written grammar also covered.

    Hi Claire,

I haven't done any courses with those schools you mentioned but I know <snip> delivers really good French and Spanish courses and the tutors are excellent. Only problem is they mainly operate from West of Ireland. Would you be intersted in studying by distance learning using webcam?

They are starting up these distance courses soon I think. Here is their website:

Ah, I see you do in fact have a direct connection. User LearningCurve sound familiar?

    Toodles.
