Game over, 23 - 6 to the dragons. Pretty depressing display from an Ulster point of view. Was tight in the first half but the second half was woeful, 2 try scoring opportunities for Ulster knocked on with the line in sight under zero pressure. So thats Wales and Scotland 4, Ireland 0. Bad start to the ML.

Leinster outplayed the Scarlets and lost. Badly. Really shocking lack of composure at times.

Munster brought a weakened team to Glasgow, one of the tougher places to play and got spanked.

    Connacht lost bravely again.

Ulster's result is the only that's really worrying. Other than Leinster's inability to put a weaker team to the sword at least.

Totally agree. Ulster had a good pre-season (defeated Worcester away impressively as well as Newcastle at home) but yesterday's performance seemed to be a continuation of where Ulster left off last season. Paul Turner's post match remarks indicated as much. Ospreys away on Saturday will be even tougher so here's hoping Brian McLaughlin will work some magic between now and then! As regards Leinster I'm still trying to work out how they lost their game against Scarlets. Not scoring when Scarlets were down to 13 men proved crucial in the end I guess.
