Am I wrong for standing up for myself?

Ahoy!

Watsup,
So heres the deal,this is gonna be a long one but bear with me. Mine and my exfriends birthdays were coming up,lets call him Andrew. So we decided to do it together from saving up the hassle of doing two seperate parties. We decided to go up the north to get loads of drinks. On the day i ring him up and he says that hes busy and will be free in two hours. I say thatl be too late because my friend(Vicky) and I want to walk around the shops and by the time we get there,most of them will be closed. Andrew says grand then ill hurry up and be ready in an hour. Grand me thinks,so I tell him we'll wait for him.

An hour passes by,i give him a ring hes says he will be at my house in 15 minutes. Half an hour passes by i give him a ring he says hes just around the corner. After another half an hour,he finally arrives. I say nothing about it and greet him,and the first thing the pr*ck says is 'Just lost 50 euro in a shop,i think it was because of you making me hurry'. I just stood there literally lost for words because i wasn't expecting this from a friend.

So now we are finally on the way,and im fairly pissed off. All the way through the journey he and another mate(lets call him Jerry)are just taking the piss,asking Vicky stupid questions and laughing at anything she says. So now both me and Vicky are pissed off and just stopped paying attention to them.After about 15 minutes of awkward silence Andrew says 'What the f*ck is wrong with yous,its like we did something wrong'. Vicky then starts saying that Andrew shouldn't have talked sh*te and told that he'll be ready in an hour. He starts raising his voice to her,then i just snapped.Which resulted both of us screaming our heads off to eachother. Us driving along the f*cking motorway and he says 'Stop the car and we'll sort this out outside'. I just froze,cause im a fairly calm person and have never been in a fight in my life. So mid way we turned around and went home.

Few weeks after a good mate(Mike) gave me a ring,saying that they're in town and they're going to his house to have a few drinks and asked if i want to come along. I said grand,i go up theres about six people there and Andrew is one of them. Four people hop in,mike says can i come back and pick up the rest of the gang i said grand. We drop everyone off and mike and I go back,on the way back im thinking 'If Andrew thinks im giving him a lift he can go f*ck himself'. We go back and Andrew is acting like everything is perfect and while he is getting into the car i go 'You can f*ck off and walk' so he goes up to the driver door and starts shouting 'Get out and we'll sort this out' .Fair enough,i open my door and im about to get out and he goes 'Ye you can go,f*ck off'. Grand,I wasnt even in a mood for a fight. In the mean while one of Andrews friends and a friend of mine i thought,says 'ye **** off,or we'll kick the sh*t out of ya'. Mike gets out of the car incase of a fight to break it. So Andrew and his mate are shouting at me,Mike is there standing saying 'Hold on lets sort this out without fighting' while theyre saying 'Go,ya f*cking f*ggot' i asked Mike if hes coming,he goes no,hold on and i just drive off cause if i stayed it would've definetly ended in a fight.

I now feel that its going to be me against the rest of them and the best solution is just to just cut contact with all of them including Mike,because hes good friends with Andrew and his friend.

'Friends' that (even repeatedly!) threaten you with violence are no friends.

Get rid of them and find better friends, and try to focus not on drinks but on other activities that you can do together.
