I'm looking for advice on buying a bike

    Hi, I have about E450-E600 to spend on a bike which I will be using for to commute to and from work which will be about a 16 mile round trip. The GIANT FCR style of bike would be the style I am interested in. I was just wondering has anyone any advice as to whether this is a good choice / suitable bike for this type of commute and in this price range or what other options I might consider, and also what bike shops might be good to deal with.Any advice much appreciated.

    I'm selling a Giant FCR 1 if you're interested. 3 months old.They're 800 new and I'd let it go for 550. Fantastic bike

    You could a lot worse than this.

    Slightly out of your budget, but you never know what offer might be accepted...

    Good choice for commuting as it's got mudguard clearance.
